Freelance Social Media Specialist for Meyadey
Is Instagram your jam? Engaging with customers and managing a community brings you joy? Are you passionate about sustainability? Does the world of childrenswear sound fun and interesting to you? If you’ve answered yes, then we might have the perfect challenge for you here at Meyadey! We are a GOTS-certified Swedish childrenswear brand that is looking to expand. Join us as our new social media specialist and help us spread the word about sustainability and our brand.
The Job Role
✧ Managing Meyadey’s official Instagram Account (other platforms to be discussed)
✧ Providing excellent customer service & strengthening the Meyadey community
✧ Communicating relevant news and our brand values with our community
✧ Curating and selecting suitable content
✧ Liaising with influencers & overseeing giveaways
✧ Approx. 10h/week, starting as soon as possible
✧ Competitive hourly rate, to be discussed
Requirements
✧ Previous experience in Social Media Management
✧ Strong communication and writing skills with fluency in English
✧ Ability to follow brand guidelines and mould your writing to fit our brand voice
✧ A team player who values collaboration
✧ Basic graphic design & photo editing skills
✧ Candidates must be based in Europe and able to work remotely

✧ Your speak Swedish, German or another European language
✧ You are confident in editing video content
✧ You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
✧ You have experience with paid ad campaigns
About Meyadey
Meyadey is a Swedish children’s wear brand that was founded in 2019 as the sister brand of the globally known and loved brand Maxomorra. The founder, Johan Ström, felt the urge to create something slightly more sophisticated that would contrast the loud and extroverted energy of Maxomorra. As a result, Meyadey was born. Inspired by his daughter’s name Meya and the Swedish words for ‘me’ (mig) and ‘you’ (dig), it is a play on words, symbolising unity, individuality and friendship. Similar to our sister brand Maxomorra, Meyadey’s values and commitments are rooted in sustainability and honesty. Every single product is carefully considered, starting from the initial sketches to selecting the fabrics, printing and sewing.
